Aim of the training program: The program of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Law aims to provide fundamental legal and economic knowledge and systematic legal thinking; to provide in-depth knowledge on regulations of domestic and international commercial environment. It also provides professional competence to students for their career or for higher education. 3. Admission information: Type of admission: Pursuant to Regulations of VNU II. STANDARD OUTPUT OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM: 1. On knowledge and competence 1.1. On knowledge - Understand and apply in practice the system of scientific knowledge of basic Principles of Marxism-Leninism, ideological, moral, and cultural values of Ho Chi Minh, fundamentals of the Revolutionary Policies of Vietnam Communist Party; shape the worldview and methodology for students when approaching and analyzing modern issues of State and Law; - Apply the fundamental knowledge of social science and natural sciences to solve theoretical and practical issues related to the training program; - Apply the basic knowledge in the field of theoretical and historical issues of State and Law, Constitutional law, Administrative law as well the basic knowledge of Economics in solving theoretical and practical issues related to the training program; - Apply the basic knowledge of legal science in the branches of law such as civil law, marriage and family law, criminal law, commercial law, public international law, private international law, etc. in identifying and solving professional issues in practical works; - Understand and apply specialized legal knowledge by sector in the field of business law such as the law on business organization, the law on contracts, labor law, land law, environmental law, finance, banking, insurance law, competition law, etc. to solve specific legal issues that arise in commercial activities; - Acquire systematic legal thinking to identify and to solve complex legal issues in commercial activities; - Apply knowledge in practice to initially familiarize with future professions and adapt to changes in work environment. - Acquire skills in foreign language at the third level according to the 6-level foreign language competence framework for Vietnam. 1.2. Competence of self-control and responsibility - Self-direct and adapt to different work environment; self-study, accumulate knowledge and experience to improve professional qualifications; - Acquire in-depth knowledge in the educated field in working institutions, can make accurate professional conclusions and defend those conclusions; - Plan, organize, manage, supervise the implementation of a practical specific task; promote collective intelligence in workplace; fundamentally competent in management and leadership; - Work independently or cooperate in teamwork, complete tasks logically, creatively and be responsible for the outcomes of their work; fundamentally competent in creativity and development skills in the profession; 2. On competence: 2.1. Professional skills: - Recognize, analyze and evaluate legal issues properly; - Acquire the skills of researching and applying legal documents, normative law, customary commercial rules to solve practical issues; - Acquire basic competence in forming and managing a company; - Acquire initial competence in negotiating, concluding and performing contracts and commercial agreements; - Acquire competence in resolving commercial disputes; - Be initially capable of providing independent consultancy in business law cases (companies, banks, insurance, tax, auditing, securities, finance, resources, environment, intellectual property, etc.); - Be initially capable of identifying and using appropriate tools and methods to manage business risks; - Acquire competence to complete complex tasks that require theoretical and practical knowledge application of the training program; acquire competence in analyzing, synthesizing, evaluating data and information, and synthesizing collective opinions; - Acquire competence in applying research results related to business law into practice; - Be capable of summarizing professional practical experience on the basis of knowledge already equipped; 2.2. Supplementary skills: - Acquire competence in communication and presentation; - Be capable of presenting research results and writing scientific reports; - Acquire competence in researching information in work and life; - Acquire competence in adapting to the changes of domestic and international work environment; - Acquire competence in evaluating their work and their team members’ when performing a common task; - Use foreign language proficiently, in particular specialized language ; - Use computers and some common office software proficiently. 3. Position that students can undertake after graduation - Group 1: Work for domestic or international enterprises in various sectors of business; - Group 2: Work as independent lawyers or in law firm and legal consulting centers; - Group 3: Work in legislative, administrative, or judicial agencies of the state apparatus from central to local levels, political, socio-political and professional organizations; - Group 4: Work for non-governmental organizations, intergovernmental organizations, and international organizations; - Group 5: Work as researcher and lecturer in business law at institutes, research centers, universities, colleges, and vocational schools. 5. Competence and opportunity for higher education and career: - Acquire competence in self-studying to enhance theoretical and practical knowledge; - Have opportunities to pursue higher education (LLM, PhD) in Vietnam or internationally; - Enroll in courses for judicial titles such as Judge, Court Clerk, Prosecutor, Lawyer, Notary, Court Usher, etc. III.
